FlyNamibia Expands Connectivity Across Namibia and Southern Africa

30 October 2025FlyNamibia hosted its annual FlyNamibia Awards on 29 October at Droombos in Windhoek, celebrating industry partners who continue to drive the airline’s growth and success. The red-carpet event recognised agents, operators, and key stakeholders who play a vital role in connecting Namibia to the region and beyond.

As part of the celebrations, FlyNamibia announced expanded services and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening regional connectivity. From April 2026, the airline will increase flights between Windhoek and Victoria Falls from three to six per week, and expand services to Maun and Katima Mulilo to four times weekly. These additional frequencies will enhance travel flexibility, improve cross-border links, and create greater opportunities for collaborative itineraries across Southern Africa.

The airline also continues to serve critical domestic and regional routes from both Eros Airport and Hosea Kutako International Airport, linking destinations such as Ondangwa, Lüderitz, Katima Mulilo, Maun, and Victoria Falls. Each route supports not only tourism but also trade, logistics, and community connection — contributing to Namibia’s wider economic development.

“Every route we fly contributes to Namibia’s social and economic upliftment,” said FlyNamibia CEO Nerine Uys.

“Whether it’s connecting families, empowering business, or driving tourism growth, FlyNamibia remains dedicated to linking the people and opportunities that move Namibia forward.”

Congratulating FlyNamibia on its continued progress, Africa’s Eden CEO Jillian Blackbeard said:

“FlyNamibia’s growing network represents exactly the kind of regional collaboration that strengthens our collective tourism offering. By expanding access to Maun and Victoria Falls, the airline is helping to make multi-country journeys simpler and more sustainable by connecting travellers to the heart of Africa’s Eden.”

FlyNamibia’s expansion underscores the growing importance of reliable, in-destination air connectivity as a foundation for tourism growth and regional integration across Africa’s Eden’s eight member countries.
