Albida launches new luxury villa offering in Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls Safari Collection has officially launched Albida – Victoria Falls, introducing its new flagship property to travel trade and media audiences in Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg.

Set on the same hilltop estate as Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and the Collection’s other properties, Albida caters to the luxury traveller market with just 13 villas, including three with two bedrooms. Each features spacious, double-volume thatched living areas, a private patio and an individual plunge pool.

At the Cape Town launch, Africa Albida Director Ross Kennedy highlighted the property’s all-inclusive approach and its focus on delivering the experiences guests want. The offering includes specially selected activities such as guided visits to Victoria Falls, Chobe safaris, spa treatments, helicopter flights and nature walks.

Africa’s Eden CEO Jillian Blackbeard congratulated the team on the launch.

“Congratulations to the Africa Albida team on this exciting addition to Victoria Falls Safari Collection. Continued investment in quality accommodation and memorable experiences strengthens our region’s tourism offering and gives travel buyers fresh reasons to introduce their clients to Africa’s Eden,” she said.

The launch follows further developments across the estate. Sales and Marketing Director Anald Musonza also announced the completion of its conference and events facilities, comprising the Indaba Conference Room, Queen Nandi and Elangeni.

The Collection has additionally switched on a one-megawatt solar project, which Musonza said has made the estate power self-sufficient—a significant milestone in its Green Steps journey towards operating off-grid.

With its intimate villa offering and emphasis on experiences, Albida adds a new option for travellers seeking a luxury stay in Victoria Falls while exploring the wider region.
