Ohorongo Safari Lodge & Tented Camp

Welcome to Ohorongo Private Game Reserve, where conservation meets adventure in northwestern Namibia. Nestled within a 35,000-hectare protected habitat, this reserve is dedicated to nurturing the black rhino through the Black Rhino Custodianship Program of Namibia’s Ministry of Environment and Tourism. Alongside the black rhino, over 40 other species thrive in this sanctuary. Guests can partake in on-foot rhino tracking, guided by experienced locals, contributing to the rhino’s preservation. At Ohorongo, the outside world fades away as guests immerse themselves in exceptional wildlife viewing, savouring delicious locally sourced food from their vegetable garden, and experiencing renowned Namibian hospitality. The reserve emphasizes respecting wildlife by traveling on foot whenever possible.

The Private Game Reserve offers accommodation in two exceptional properties. The luxurious Ohorongo Tented Camp features five spacious tents, providing an intimate retreat surrounded by the African wilderness. For a unique African charm, the Ohorongo Safari Lodge celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Namibia with its distinctive ambiance.

Located 300 km north of Windhoek, Ohorongo Private Game Reserve is a treasure trove of diverse landscapes.
