Ntanda Ventures

Kerry Macfarlane is the founder of Ntanda Ventures Ltd – a Zambia safari tour operator. Kerry was born and grew up in South Luangwa National Park as both her parents were in tourism. Kerry is at her happiest designing bespoke safaris to suit the individual requirements (we know everyone has a slightly different request), whether dealing directly with a client, a team member or a partner agent. Kerry started her travel career with Thomas Cook in South Africa before moving back to Zambia and worked as a travel agent for many years in Zambia before setting up Ntanda in 2013. Kerry is well travelled in Zambia and wants to share her passion for Zambia with the world.

Ntanda Ventures doesn’t just exist in Zambia, they are embedded in the country, its history, its culture and its magnificent untouched landscapes and hidden gems. Ntanda specialises in Zambia and can therefore book anywhere in Zambia from the source of the Zambezi to the Victoria Falls or up North on the waterfall route to Lake Tanganyika.

The Ntanda team led by Kerry and Christina all live and travel frequently in Zambia. Ntanda Ladies believe the tourist dollar should remain in the country and strongly support local operators and suppliers. This is a company with a strong local network and connections. Ntanda will be there with a rich wealth of knowledge to help you explore this beautiful country Zambia in the most sustainable and meaningful way possible, helping you to create memories that last a lifetime. From the untouched Bangweulu Wetlands to the Hustle and bustle of Lusaka and the tourism Hotspot of Livingstone, all the way down to the serenity of the Lower Zambezi National Park, they have got your Zambian Safari needs covered. Ntanda works closely with their local community donation and sourcing computer equipment for the local computer school. They make reusable sanitary pads for the girls in the local community under their EmpowerHer programme. The team believes that where there’s a woman, there’s a way.
