Mola Mola Safaris is an activity provider specialising in providing bespoke experiences in Walvis Bay since 1995. With a range of activities from Marine Dolphin Cruises, Pelican Point Kayaking, Beach Braai lunches, Sandwich Harbour 4×4 Experiences, or Namib Sand Sea Expeditions, guests leave the coast beyond happy and with everlasting memories.
With 30 years of experience, Mola Mola Safaris has been able to develop its activities to provide guests with the best experience while at the Namibian coast. Over the years, the team has been able to fine tune and customize the experiences to fit all guests. From half-day activities to multi-day expeditions, guests can choose the experience that best fits into their schedule and preferences.
The Marine Dolphin Cruises are for guests that want to enjoy a relaxing cruise surrounded by the vast Atlantic ocean and the multitude of marine life residing there. With Pelicans, Cape Fur Seals, Heaviside and Bottlenose Dolphins, the majestic Humpback Whales, or the occasional Southern Right Whale, guests get to immerse themselves in the wonder of nature.
For those seeking a more active experience, the Pelican Point Kayaking is a must. Surrounded by the thousands of seals playfully splashing nearby, guests get to enjoy time spent on the water kayaking with Mola Mola Safaris’ fluid red kayaks or the recently introduced crystal kayaks. These crystal kayaks are a first for Namibia, offering guests the amazing opportunity of viewing the marine life swimming below them.
Venturing a bit further awaits the unique Beach Braai lunch set-up. With a freeform tent, set tables and freshly cooked food, guests get to experience a true Namibian cuisine experience surrounded by the local fauna and flora that makes Pelican Point Peninsula so diverse. From freshly flame-grilled beef fillet to locally caught rock-lobster to soul-cleansing salads, the Beach Braai adds the extra flair that leaves guests ready for the next adventure.
The adventure does not end there – it only extends to the magnificent Sandwich Harbour, famously known as the “place where the ocean meets the desert.” With equipped 4x4s and skilled guides, guests get to sit back and enjoy the rolling dune landscapes and picture-perfect views. Whether it’s early morning, afternoon, or during sunset, this open, never-ending space is awe-inspiring.
The best thing is that all of these experiences can be combined with each other to create a morning, afternoon, or full day of “beyond epic.”
For guests seeking remote and “off the grid” experiences, the Namib Sand Sea Expeditions are the perfect fit. With overnight, wild camping in the Namib Sand Sea (UNESCO World Heritage Site), guests revert to a basic nature of sleeping under the stars and sitting next to a campfire surrounded by endless deserted landscapes.
