Lokuthula means ‘Place of Peace’ in the local Ndebele language – an apt name for these well-appointed lodges set in tranquil, indigenous gardens where warthogs mow the lush lawns!
Offering excellent value for money, the 31 lodges are located on the same estate as the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, and feature easy access to a swimming pool, a bar and the award-winning Boma – Dinner & Drum Show. Lokuthula Lodges may be booked on a self-catering or bed and breakfast basis.
The lodges border the Zambezi National Park, and a nearby waterhole attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including buffalo, elephant, hyena and several bird species.
The Victoria Falls Safari Spa, the destination’s largest and first purpose-built spa, is set to open on the same estate as the Victoria Falls Safari Suites in November 2022, placing the city on the map as a wellness destination. The Spa will feature manicure and pedicure stations, private relaxation rooms, a splash pool and deck, a café, a hair salon as well as three outlying separate secluded treatment rooms (one double and two singles).
