Kayube is located on a private 90 hectare estate directly on the banks of the Zambezi River, only 20 km upstream from The Victoria Falls and opposite Zimbabwe’s Zambezi National Park. The views on the Zambezi are stunning with forever changing moods and colours. Kayube Estate Zambezi River

Kayube Estate on the Zambezi River is home to four unique accommodation options: the Mama Out of Africa, River Bungalows (3), the River House and the Boat House. Each boasts incredible views of Zambezi river and sits opposite Zimbabwe national park. Kayube Estate Manor House was built in the early 90s. The land, initially devoted to farming, was used to grow citrus, vegetables and other crops. Today Kayube maintains a small citrus orchard, where guests can help themselves to fruit when in season.

Accommodation types: The Bungalows are located on the 90 hectare private estate, only 30 minutes from the Victoria Falls. These private bungalows rest directly on the banks of the Zambezi river with exquisite views. Each bungalow has a private braai/bbq area and kitchen for self-catering. The Mama Out of Africa, once a mobile safari vehicle and later the rolling dressing room for the film set ‘Out of Africa’, has been converted into a spectacular semi outdoor self catering accommodation directly on the banks of the Zambezi. With the master suite, kitchen and lounge inside the bus conversion and two double bedrooms lofted with a private entrance and bathroom, the Mama Out of Africa is excellent for families and small groups.

The charming Kayube boat house is a unique 2-story property, offering private parking and accommodating 4 guests comfortably. On the bottom floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy lounge with 2 futons for extra sleeping space, and a lovely veranda where you can relax and enjoy the views. The top floor features a wrap-around veranda, a mezzanine studio bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a tea and coffee station with a mini fridge, and a dedicated workspace for those who need to catch up on work. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or a romantic getaway, this boat house is the perfect choice. Finally the River House’s stunning lawn is perfect for picnics and outdoor activities, while the outdoor dining area provides a picturesque setting for al fresco meals.Cool off in the private pool or relax in the spacious living room. With two ensuite bedrooms, comfortably sleeping five guests, there is plenty of space for everyone. Enjoy meals together in the indoor dining area and make use of the fully equipped kitchen. Kayube’s charming boat house is located in a picturesque waterfront setting. This unique 2-story property offers private parking and can accommodate up to 4 guests comfortably. On the bottom floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy lounge with 2 futons for extra sleeping space, and a lovely veranda where you can relax and enjoy the views. The top floor features a wrap-around veranda, a mezzanine studio bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a tea and coffee station with a mini fridge, a dedicated workspace for those who need to catch up on work, and air conditioning for your comfort.
River house
This spacious property allows guests to truly immerse themselves in the great outdoors. The stunning lawn is perfect for picnics and outdoor activities, while the outdoor dining area provides a picturesque setting for al fresco meals. Cool off in the private or relax in the front room, which can be configured with either three single beds or a double and a single bed. This room also features an en suite bathroom. The second bedroom has two single beds, which can also be configured as a double, and an en suite bathroom with a corner bath. Mama Out of Africa
This unique semi outdoor self catering accommodation is the ideal hideaway on the Zambezi River. Once a mobile safari vehicle and later the rolling dressing room for the film set 'Out of Africa' , the Mama out of Africa has been converted into a spectacular semi outdoor self catering accommodation directly on the banks of The Zambezi. Hidden amongst Riverine Trees it is an ideal spot for bird watchers, The African Finfoot nests in the waterberry trees right in front of the deck. The romantic setting faces the Zambezi National Park across the river where regularly herds of elephants arrive for a refreshing dip.
