Kamba Travel & Tourism was created by Shingi Matsanga on his return home to Zimbabwe. Shingi studied Hospitality Management in Mauritius with a renowned Hotel School then worked in management positions in hospitality in various exotic locations in the Middle East and Africa. Seeing opportunities in the Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Industry in Zimbabwe, he decided home had a strong calling.
Kamba was born, a company offering package holidays to Indian Ocean Islands. Fast forward a couple of years and a chance meeting with Kim Bruk-Jackson resulted in Kamba Travel & Tourism settling in offices in The Bronte Hotel in Harare and becoming a Travel Management Company creating bespoke travel experiences for clients both leisure and corporate.
With an earlier background in hospitality, Kim Bruk-Jackson moved to Zimbabwe working in sales for an airline. Later working for Delta Air Lines for over 22 years, managing Key Accounts for Delta Air Lines in Africa as well as their offline market in Southern Africa. A couple of years in Johannesburg with Delta, Kim returned to Zimbabwe in 2019, then meeting Shingi was meant to be!
Kamba Travel & Tourism has grown from a two-person bespoke business to a team of five people and still growing, this has helped us in expanding our innovative delivery of unforgettable travel.
