We are a dedicated and experienced husband and wife team, Rob Barber and Charlotte Bennett-Diver; and as owners of the unique roving and expedition camps, we personally curate Golden Africa journeys for every guest, from initial planning to delivery.

About as far from the safari norm as it’s possible to get, Golden Africa’s camps takes the safari experience back to where it began, with an intimate and remote camp set up just for you and your group in some of the very best wilderness locations Botswana has to offer.
Our roving camp provides all the luxury amenities to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep in the wild while travelling in an exclusive eco-friendly safari bubble. Fully solar, the camp features spacious Meru style en-suite tents and artisanal chefs preparing a delicious and innovative menu for each group of a maximum of 12 guests. With the most advanced modified game viewing vehicles, you are guided by passionate career professionals with decades of experience to ensure you have one of the most memorable safaris in Africa. Our expedition camp provides all the soul and exclusivity of our roving camp but with a more paired back accommodation offering. The big difference being the roving camp has enclosed ensuite bathrooms with flush loos and the expedition camp has outside ensuite bathrooms with longdrop loos, but other than that you will enjoy the same expert guiding, best in class game viewers and safari in some of the best wilderness areas in Botswana.
