Bundu White Water Rafting is Zambia’s premier white-water adventure on the mighty Zambezi River, offering clients an exhilarating experience through Grade III–IV rapids. The adventure is suitable for first-timers looking for an adrenaline rush as well as experienced rafters seeking a challenge. We offer half day, full day and multi day rafting trips which go all the way to Kariba dam, depending on water height/seasons. Helicopter lift outs are offered at each stopping point to avoid the walk out along the Gorge. Clients will fly over the Victoria Falls en route back making this a great combo activity.
In the low water season, swimming under the Victoria Falls is available where you’ll swim beneath the iconic world wander in the rock pools. This can be done as an add on to rafting or a stand alone activity.
For a contrasting experience, Makoro Quest Canoeing offers a serene, immersive journey through the Zambezi’s quieter channels. Guests paddle in fiberglass canoes, allowing them to explore areas often inaccessible by larger boats. This intimate adventure focuses on wildlife spotting, birdwatching, and observing the river’s ecosystems up close. Half day, full day and overnight options are available where clients sleepout next to the Zambezi River.
