Each of their 5 walk-in safari tents has an open-air ensuite bathroom with classic hot water bucket shower, flush toilet, power sockets, comfortable beds and a fan. Attached to each tent, the outside seating area offers seclusion away from the main camp for guests to relax, and shade to escape the midday sun.
At the centre of camp stands an atmospheric Swahili Meru tent with relaxed seating, candle-lit communal dining area and a small bush bar. The perfect place to swap safari stories and soak up the splendour of a safari under canvas – private dinners can be arranged on request.
Guests enjoy daily game drives and world class walking safaris, revelling in the solitude and rarely encountering others, as the nearest neighbours are more than 3km away. Conveniently located just an hour from the main gate and Mfuwe airport, guests have effortless access to prime game viewing areas.
Founded, managed and guided by Gavin Opie and his close knit-team, Gavin has over 15 years of guiding expertise in South Luangwa and his passion for Zambia and vast knowledge of the country’s flora and fauna make him the perfect guide and host on safari.
