The Farmhouse Lodge & Worlds View Campsite provide the ideal location from which visitors can discover many natural wonders of the surrounding Matobo hills.
The main lodge area is the old farm homestead. It has a central social area with a cozy bar and dining room, a swimming pool and a neatly kept garden to enjoy.
They have 12 Dutch style cottages nestled beneath a granite kopjie, each cottage is either double or twin, has its own private seating area, mini fridge, tea/coffee station and it’s own ensuite bathroom.
High in the hills of Granite Ridge Wildlife Reserve is a campsite for those who wish to enjoy the splendor of the Matopos scenery. Included is a large dining/entertainment area, ablution block with hot showers, toilets and hand- wash basins, campfire pits and braai areas. All facilities overlook the incredible vista of our neighbor, the Matopos National Park. The breathtaking views make this “Worlds View” campsite a special place. Campers also the chance to see wildlife visit the waterhole below or hear the elusive leopard call at night. View the expanse of the milky way or watch a pair of Verreaux’s eagles soar as they hunt using the thermals above the rugged granite terrain.
Guests can participate in the various activities offered at the Lodge or arrange their own trips in the area. Go on game drives or guided walks to rock paintings and other ancient sights on their property. Visit the neighboring National Park home of both Black and White Rhino, and endless picturesque views. Guided tours often leading to unforgettable experiences.
