What is a Fully Serviced Mobile Tented Safari?

In Botswana, the best way to fully know the country untouched is on a full serviced mobile tented safari tent in areas where you and your group could potentially be the only guests!

Endeavour organizes fully serviced mobile tented camps, boat safaris and walking safaris throughout Botswana. What does this mean? Each beautiful canvas tent you sleep in would have an ensuite toilet and shower! In addition, a mess tent is set up next to the kitchen, all in the heart of the wilderness!

Endeavour has no limitations because they can visit and set up camp wherever they go. The camps are also accessible to children, seniors, and those with sensory or motor difficulties.

Each safari has been designed in such a way as to ensure maximum comfort and respond to the demands of anyone who prefers a product more luxurious but still adventurous African style product.

In the Endeavour Camps, each bedroom tent is spacious, 4.5 m x 3m x 2 to 2.5 m. They are built with a thick layer of ground insulation and a partition between the bedroom and the private interior bathroom. The tents can accommodate one or two guests or families with 1 or 2 children. The large windows are fitted with mosquito gauze so guests can enjoy the cool breeze and listen to the orchestra of Africa outside their tents.

In the tent’s ensuite bathroom, there is a chemical toilet and a hot bucket shower. Those with mobility problems are equipped with chairs with padded seats and folding armrests for easy transfer from the wheelchair to the shower or toilet. Each bathroom also includes:

  • a small linen closet with shelves
  • a mirror
  • containers for soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, brush, comb
  • towels
  • amenities such as soap, shampoo and insect repellent.

Are you wondering what the beds are like on an Endeavour mobile camping safari in Botswana? You can rest easy as you’ll be provided with high-density mattresses, pillows, quilts, and sheets. In the chilly winter months, you’ll be greeted by a hot water bottle warming up your bed for the perfect slumber. Every bedroom tent also includes a small table with a light and rechargeable battery. A water container is filled every morning and evening to wash your hands and face and clean your teeth.

The camp is set up with a mess tent, which includes a dining table, buffet table, and a coffee station available throughout the day. The table for lunch and dinner is prepared by camp staff with porcelain plates, glasses for water and wine, and metal cutlery.

Every meal on your Endeavour mobile safari in Botswana is prepared by the brilliant bush chefs on the fire. You can even expect fresh bread and cakes daily for dessert and surprise birthday celebrations.

Every mobile camping safari departing with Endeavour will have a minimum of 2 vehicles: one vehicle for passengers and the local guide and a backup vehicle for equipment, supplies and camp staff. The backup vehicle departs before the clients to prepare the camp and meals almost miraculously before your arrival.

Guests can relax on a mobile safari in Botswana, as Endeavour’s staff ensure the cleanliness and order of the camp and exclusively take part in the setup and take down of the camp as you move from one place to another. This offers you, the guest, more time to be on the lookout for the fantastic wildlife sightings to take the perfect photo on safari in  the Botswana bush.
