Victoria Falls canoeing company operates and runs canoeing trips on the Zambezi national park above Victoria Falls. These safaris range from one-day trips to three days two nights trips. Tents and food are provided for camping trips, with backup camping safari staff,  we use two men’s stand dome tents, mattresses,  sleeping bags and liners. We take a minimum   of two people and a maximum of 12 people (special arrangements can be made for larger groups upon request)

Our minimum age limit for canoeing safaris is 12 years and there is no maximum age limit but sound judgement should be used . No previous canoeing experience is necessary, but guests must be reasonably fit and healthy. Animals seen on these safaris are usually buffalo, elephant, Impala, waterbuck, hippo, crocodile, lion, leopard, hyena etc. Birdlife is plenty full. We cannot guarantee animals on safari. Our canoeing safaris begin and end in Victoria Falls. We do not recommend taking valuables on the river. We pick up guests from their respective places of stay between 07:00 and 7:30 in the morning. Camping trips are picked up at 07:00 am or 4:00 pm. Depending on the type of trip they booked. For camping trips, upon pickup shopping trip follows to allow guests to purchase any additional groceries or personal items required, as well to purchase particular drinks they want the safari commences with a 2 to 3hr game drive into camp. the camp is set up by a backup crew that includes a chef and waiter and camp hands.

What to bring for the safari

Swimming/bathing costumes, shorts and T- shirts, personal toiletries, canvas shoes or rafting sandals, hat with a wide brim. Jacket or sweater for the evenings, long sleeved shirts for sun protection. Sarong to protect your legs from the sun. Torch or flashlight and extra batteries b binoculars and sunscreen. Insect repellent, socks for winter nights. Warm clothes to sleep in during winter. Waterproof bags for personal items. Money for national park fees as well as identification documents. We recommend guests take a course of anti-malaria medication before travelling to Africa. Ensure that you inform Victoria falls canoeing company or your travel agent of any medical or dietary requirements at least 15 days before your trip.
