Sable Sands Lodge overlooks the ancient riverbed of the famous “Dete Vlei” and is located within a private Forestry Concession on the outskirts of the unfenced and world-famous Hwange National Park. Conveniently located 8km from the Hwange National Park and 200km from Victoria Falls, Sable Sands offers easy access to these African gems.

Comprising of sixteen spacious and open-plan thatched ‘rondavels’, simply yet elegantly furnished to create a blend of traditional culture, nature and modern convenience, this African Forest “home-away-from-home” welcomes guests to an exquisite safari setting in unspoilt surroundings.

Rondavel cottage with thatched roof, twin or double bed configuration. Extra beds can be added for family room.
