Abu Camp
Facilities
Abu Camp is set in a pristine riverine forest and blends in seamlessly with the magnificent surrounding hardwood trees. Looking out over a large lagoon, an imaginative use of canvas has created a unique and luxurious style of tent. Each of the six en-suite tents has its own distinctive furnishings and fittings, imparting an air of opulence in the bush, featuring an indoor and outdoor shower, an outdoor copper bath, and a private plunge pool sunken into the elevated teak deck. The multi-decked lounge and dining area, well-stocked library, gym and pool in the main area will keep you entertained, informed and energised while at Abu Camp.
Game drives, guided nature walks, mokoro excursions and boating reveal the many wonders of this wildlife-rich area. The team delight in creating unique moments for guests, with sumptuous meals enjoyed in the bush, dining on tapas, to idyllic sundowner spots, or sharing stories around the camp fire, and movie nights under the starry skies.

One of the best ways to appreciate just why the Okavango Delta was made UNESCO’s 1 000th World Heritage Site.
Season-dependent mokoro excursions offer a taste of the more conventional Okavango. The traditional dugout canoes are navigated by a skilled poler and offer guests a tranquil perspective of the region. Mokoro excursions offer a romantic taste of the 'postcard' Okavango. * Water levels permitting.
Walking in the bush with an experienced guide can be one of the most exciting ways of viewing game, as well as appreciating the smaller critters and flora, in and around this magnificent private reserve. A truly memorable experience awaits. * Seasonal and subject to the availability of a qualified walking guide.
